SOGAT 2014 to Focus on Sour Gas Treatment Topics
As the oil and gas industry continues to seek out new methods for becoming more efficient and productive, sour gas management solutions are scheduled to be showcased at the upcoming Sour Oil & Gas Advanced Technology Exhibition. The SOGAT exhibition will be held from form March 23-27, 2014 in Abu Dhabi.
Now in its 10th year, the event is slated to include an array of workshops that will focus on a variety of H2S removal and carbon dioxide removal topics. Among those topics will be “Amine Treating,” “Contamination Removal,” “Gas Compressor Selection & Testing,” and “Sour O&G Process Optimization.” Among the topics that will also be discussed at the event are the latest plans for the construction of sulphur recovery plants at the Shah and Bab facilities in Abu Dhabi.
Industry leaders and suppliers from around the world will be in attendance at SOGAT 2014. Filtech, a firm from China, will be demonstrating the benefits of optimizing energy efficiency in amine units.
